"Fermented and matured in concrete and neutral French oak. The wine opens with crushed chalk, pomelo, lemon pith and churned ricotta. Water crackers, silver needle tea and lemongrass follow. There is a mealiness on the palate, oatmeal and crushed almond. A fine line of blue rock and seashell. Acidity reins supreme, forceful but coaxing. The palate slips and slides along. A slinky little number and built for the long haul." - Shanteh Wale
